Hawaii is the 50th State and was the last inducted into the union in 1959. Even though all the eight islands were created from volcanic eruptions, millions of years ago, each island has its own characteristics which make it special: 1. Hawaii – the Big Island full of active volcanoes, 2. Maui - sun sand, snorkeling and surf, 3. Oahu – with the metropolis of Honolulu, 4. Kauai – the Garden Isle, green and lush, 5. Molokai - made for a getaway beach vacation, 6. Lanai, 7. Kahoolawe and 8. Niihau – the Forbidden Island, home to native Hawaiians.
This slideshow represents four of the Island that I travelled to and depicts some of the hot spots. Hawaii is truly paradise found, everywhere is pretty, well kept and flowers are abound.
