After a short but sweet visit to Hungary and more importantly Budapest I can reveal some of my favourite things to do and see in the city.
Budapest has a great location plum on the Danube River; it has 9 bridges that cross it including the Chain and Erzsebet Bridges. The buldings around the city are wonderful in their neo-Gothic, neo-Renaissance and neo-classic styles and made the visit interesting; and contributes to why they call the city 'The Queen of the Danube'.
I've excluded museums but there are some great ones there so spend time in.
