If yuo are looking for something that is air conditioned the Jansom Hotel in Chumphon is convenient. Most people just overnight in Chumphon when taking the Catamaran or Ferry boats to and from Koh Tao island. The rooms at the Jansom hotel are quite worn but it is good value at about USD 15 for a double. Breakfast is included. There are street food stalls and fast food close by.
