The lush green Ourika Valley is located approximately 30km outside of Marrakech in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.

From even the roadside you can see numerouse olive trees and orange trees that brings the area alive. As you continue further into the valley you come across a river and the road meanders along this course; there are many pleasant restuarants here as it a perfect cool spot in the height of the summer months. There are also many little villages along the way including Setti-Fatma. This village is particularly popular with hikers - the most popular walk is that of the seven waterfalls (cascades).

The area is truly beautiful and shouldn't be missed on a visit to Marrakech. [edit text]  [editors]
