Helmeringhausen is a tiny little village, that dates back to the 1800s. It was first formed as farm; now this settlement is a midway point between four main tourist attractions of - Sesriem, Fish river Canyon or Luderitz, Malthohe.
As distances in Namibia can be quite far, it is always nice to see a friendly face and a place where you can take a pit stop. To my knowledge there is only one hotel here, as well as a bottle shop, and convenience store. [edit text][editors]
