Near Bucharest, in a huge forest park on the shore of a lake, there is an historic complex called "Brincoveanu's Palaces of Mogosoaia". This site was fully refurbished and it contains several buildings among which an old church, a museum, an exhibition hall and - in the near future - a hotel in the left wing of the palace. There is also a restaurant (with a parking lot) and a terrace bar.
The forest is absolutely fabulous and the whole place has a great atmosphere.
Because it is an historic monument, the whole complex is guraded permanently.
It is an ideal place to go for the week-end.
You can visit the palace, take a sunbath in the grass on the lake shore, make a barbecue or take a walk into the forest.
