Tea Garden
There are many cafes and restaurants along the lakeside, and I found them very reasonable. The food was good also. This was is at the bottom of the garden where you'll find the New Pumpernickel Bakery. more
Green Park Highway Restauarant
The drive between Kathmandu and Pokhara is incredible long so you a bound to stop at one of the roadside cafes. This one puts on a buffet spread at lunch time for all those weary travellers. It is realatively cheap and the day I visited there had a chinese menu and a local menu. more
Lovely View
There are quite a fews restaurant as you climb Sarangkot, and it seems like they all seems to have great views. Although most don't boast of that fact. But after a stenous climb on the way back down breakfast is on the menu. more

Newari Kitchen
Newari refers to the indigenous people of the Kathmandue Valley, so the food in this restaurant had a local feel. THey did offer western food but I was advised that it's better to eat local dishes as they master that, however western food for them is more experimental which mean you're more likely to get sick. But the set Nepali meal was very appertizing. more
Pyramid Restaurnt
Quite a large bar on the main road in the resort side of Pokhara. The serve a wonderful nepalese dinner - chicken curry, vegatable curry, dahl and rice. It's also a bar so you can have a beer or two. more
New Pumpernickel Bakery
Not really a restaurant, but the setting is wonderful on the lake side and there is a bar where you can get drink (and a meal) if necessary at the end of the garden and provides a perfect restbit. It has a german feel and the food is really good. more
Nobel Inn Guesthouse
Nice little guesthouse, located just off the main road. Even though the address is lakeside it is about five minutes from the lake. more

Annapurna
The famous Mt. Annapurna region ranging southeast to the north with Lamjung Himal is certainly the most popular trekking destinations in Nepal beside the Everest region.
