With a view to support (at least mentally) the Haitian people, I am announcing the Caribbean Fortnight on Globo. If you have photographs or travel stories or travel tips or would like to introduce a place, please give them! I have been fortunate to travel to the islands on three occasions in the noughties. I went to Cuba in 2000/2001, Trinidad in 2004, in 2005/2006 hopped from Aruba to Curacao, to Saint Martin to Antigua to Dominica to Saint Lucia to Martinique to Barbados to Grenada to Puerto Rico... However, I have never been able to venture to Hispaniola. And I am starting to review what I shared with you all on Globo to date and add more. I am going to do it alphabetically. I will also contact DEC(Disaster and Emergency Committee) and make a monetary donation as well. Some of the survival stories are truely miracles.
