PATA Gold Award to Nepal Tourism Board

sugam Joined: Nov 05 Points: 199 Posts: 8 Posted: 2006-02-27 08:56:00    Nepal Tourism Board has won the 2006 prestigious PATA Gold Award in the CD-Rom category for its Nepal Interactive CD Rom. This is second time NTB has won gold award in the CD-Rom category. Earlier NTB’s CD Rom "Mt. Everest & More…Experience it in Nepal” won the PATA Gold Award 2000 in CD-ROM category at the PATA Gold Awards. This year the awards honour the achievements of 28 travel-related organisations and individuals. The winners will receive their awards during the 55th PATA Annual Conference in Pattaya; Thailand; April 23-27; 2006.The honours include four Grand Awards and 31 Gold Awards. The winning entries will be on display at the Conference for all delegates. Good news for Nepal! I am delighted to hear that, that's just what the country need: to push tourists numbers up. This award will be a great help! Nepal is a great country, and the people of Nepal are really great as well, they welcome tourists and lost travellers with open arms. I would love to see this CD rom any ideas where I get my hand on one? I can t wait for my next trip to Nepal. Congratulation again to the members of the Nepal Toutism Board for their hard work. There is decreasing the tourists in Nepal due to its internal problem. Nepalese are suffered by many pains. It depends upon tourism industries so there is los of people are being unemployed due to lack of tourists. People are going to poor and poor, but the governments is not takeing care the sounds of people. I hope Nepal will escape to peace and development soon and tourists will look its natural beauties without any fear. And thans to sugam again......... --- dipak...Forever...
