Trafalgar Falls, Dominica's by orlen

Trafalgar - Dominica, Saint George Two beautiful waterfalls (only one is pictured), set in the lush Dominican rain forest. A popular place with cruise ships tour groups, it is best to go early in the morning. This is also the time of day in which locals go to the falls; to bathe in the pools at the base of the falls, and in the hot springs located about 100 meters away. The two falls are known as mother falls (the smaller one) and father falls (pictured). Their elegance is sublime, especially that of the father. Conveniently placed rocks below the waterfall, over a perfect spot to sit and contemplate their beauty. The mother is a sulphuric waterfall; which is supposedly good for your skin. The falls are reached after a 20 minute hike through the rain forest. Watch where you sit, or you might sit on a land crab "ouch!".
