The 30km diameter lake formed after the 1754 eruption IS the Taal Volcano. In the background is the new cone 'Volcano Island', formed in 1965. It puffs every few years releasing pressure, so 'tame'!

thanx for the history rangutan. ,yes terje, have considered that cropping technique. all i was thinking then is to reach the volcano crater,by boat and foot.
