Białowieża is the main city of National Park, which is located in two countries: Poland and Belarus (mainly). This is the last forest in Europe still untouched by people. UNESCO has subscribed into its list as "evergreens and broad-leaved trees and home to remarkable animal life".
Bialowieza National Park was created in XXth century and had an aim to reproduce bison population. In Poland the forest has 65 thousand hectares. Located 190 north east of Warsaw. Wild animal life here include wolf, otter, lynx and 300 European Bison’s. There are also strictly protected areas where you can go only with the guide on the marked paths. For those who can't go to the protected area is natural reserve of wild animals where we can observe most animals living in the National Park. The park looks faboulous in each part of the year.
Białowieża is the biggest city in the area. Founded in XVI century as a place of royal hunting. In XIX century tsar Alexander III has built here a palace, burnt by Sov [edit text][editors]
