Stettin, or locally known as "Szczecin", has been attacked and envaded like no other city in history, ruled by Slavs, Germans (3x), Danes, Swedes, Prussians, even the French (Napoleon) and, quasi, the Soviets. The polish people have now won it back for good, proud of their city and wonderful surroundings. Just near the border with Germany, no excuse to visit and also discover the nearby Baltic coast and Schwinemunde harbour. [edit text][editors]
