South Queensferry - United Kingdom The paint job on the Forth Rail Bridge should be finished soon and it is hoped to last well beyond 25 years. It involves blast cleaning to bare metal, primed, protected and then a top coat. Made entirely of steel, 120 years old and a real credit to everyone who worked here. A real pretty sight when floodlit. The little island underneath is Inch Garvie, uninhabited apart from herons, cormorants etc.
