Your Itinerary
Day 1:
Depart early morning and head to the western part of Uganda for a
gorilla tracking mission. Make a stop at the equator and get a chance
to stand in two hemispheres of the world simultaneously. Continue with
the journey to Masaka and have breakfast, while relaxing at Laston
hotel. Head further west through Lake Mburo national park, a chance for
you to look at Zebras besides the road. Continue the journey through
Mbarara passing the undulating landscape referred to as 'the
Switzerland of Africa' found in Kabale. From here we enter Bwindi
impenetrable forest, prepare for dinner and overnight in Bwindi Safari
Lodge.
Day 2:
Wake up, have breakfast and have a brief routine lecture on gorilla
tracking. Here begins the core of your dream journey of tracking one of
the most rare animals on earth. This will take 4-6 hours. The ranger
will will lead the way and will tell you all about Gorilla behaviour.
The most popular animals in Africa yet very rare to see. 50% of the
world's Gorillas are found in Uganda. You will spend some hours with
Gorillas, taking photographs and any non-commercialised recording. You
will be joined by other trackers. All the questions will be answered by
an English speaking guide.Come back dinner and overnight at the safari lodge.
Day 3:
Wake up for breakfast and start the journey back to Kampala making
various stops to buy crafts and see other animals. Arrive in Kampala,
late afternoon. In the evenning, you can choose to relax at some of
Kampala's night hotspots including Casinos, sports bar, night clubs,
Mateo, Nandos, cinema. The choice will be really yours
