You'll have to forgive my Tetum - it's been a while and even then I only knew very basic stuff!
What are you doing in Aceh? I'd love to know what you do. I'm a journo/producer for Channel 9 and have seen some absolutely horrific images come in from there.
I went to Timor in 2002 as past of a volunteer project with QUT to train journalists about online journalism. I'm still in touch with people there... I pay for the education of a boy in an orphanage and at the moment I'm trying to help one Australian woman who runs a self help project for Timorese women - raise some more funds.

Looks like you love East Timor as much as me!! Had the most rewarding and memorable time of my life there in 2002... I still think of the people I met and the places I visited every day.
