Goreme - The Dark Church's by siffer

Goreme - Turkey, Nev¶ehir The Dark Church frescoes are painted onto plaster, a more advanced technique reflecting advances in one of the last goreme churches built. The artwork is also more sophisticated, with more naturally flowing robes and more attention to facial detail especially the eyes, as in this image of Jesus as Pantocrator with the Virgin and St. John.
