Hippodrome - Obelisk of Thutmose III's by siffer

Istanbul - Turkey, Istanbul The oldest monument in Sultan Ahmet Square was built by Thutmose III to commemorate a military victory in 1450 BC and placed at the great temple of Karnak. Emperor Constantius III removed two obelisks in 357 AD, the other going to Rome.
