South America group posting on GLOBOsapiens

anyone going to South America Jun or July 2009?

I'll be going around for maybe 2 months. is anyone planning in the same time frame? i'll be flying into Lima and then start my trip in Peru. going all the way through to Chile, Argentina, etc. then last would be Brazil. not sure if that's the way to go though. would need some guidance. my only basis was that i think it's gonna be more expensive in brazil. is it a good idea to join travel groups or just backpack? was thinking of booking with intrepid. am not really confident/comfortable backpacking alone there. i'm from the philippines by the way. but have been living in Auckland, New Zealand for almost 3years now. so i'll be flying from here over to South america. thanks, jowe --- == Knowledge is Power == Reply    Reply with quote    Contact blackwidow   dondean Joined: Jan 09 Points: 15 Posts: 3 Posted: 2009-02-02 14:38:00    Hi Jowe, I will be in Peru and Brazil this summer.
