Hi Globies

One more question: On the Aerolineas website they offer interesting domestic fares but there is a comment: available only to the residents of Argentina. For the foreigners they are much more expensive...

Does anybody know how strict is this rule? Can I buy this

fare on Arrival to Argentina for pesos? Do they check the citizenship at the time of payment?

Thanks

Wojtek

found some info for you..

"An Argentine friend tells me that there are six or seven domestic air fares

available to him, but that only one of them, the unrestricted, "B" fare, is

available to foreign nationals.

You might want to try contacting an

Argentine travel agent for more information; there is one called ASATEJ that

I have seen recommended; if you can find their Web site you should be able

to get accurate information from them." from rec.travel.latin-america

Thanks Tashi

Here is what I got from other source:

...you need the DNI number

in order to legally get the resident rates. Sometimes they let you slide just

depends on the agent. There are some travel agents that play a bit looser and issue tickets at that rate and that seems to work without a problem. Depends on where you are going. ....

I'll try...
