The front entrance faced onto the wall of the north west corner of the Mezquita.
Very comfortable, clean rooms with all the mod cons but at twice our normal budget. The cost was 99 euros per night without breakfast plus an extra 11.87 per day for parking. more

Hotel Lola
This is one of the best places I've ever been. 100 meters far from the "Mezquita de Cordoba", old traditional house from Andalucia, completly new, with really nice furniture, every room difirent. It is like spending some days in the house of someone in Cordoba.
Try the breakfast, amazing. Kind of buffet with tipical stuff from andalucia, just in the middle of a "Patio Andaluz".
Around 120€ in 2003. more
Meson La Moreneta
Really authentic restaurant offering Cordoban specialities such as Gazpacho, Ox Tail stew as well as great value set menus for 8.60 euros with choices such as local dishes as well as Paella, fish, chicken and so on including bread, dessert and wine. The wine was (real) homemade Creme Caramel and was sensational. more

This is the most reasonable internet cafe in town, most others are coin operated. The best thing about this cafe is that it burns photos to disc for a flat 4 euro per CD, no extra charge per camera card. Near the Mezquita the cost is 6 euro per camera card onto one disc (12 euro)!! They also offer photocopying. more

Unwind with a massage and a traditional arab bath in a beautifully restored building. Make sure you book in advance as it is very busy. more

Great situation in a huge square with a fountain in the heart of Cordoba - short walk to the Mezquita and close to the main shopping area. Good English and very helpful. more
Museo Arqueologico
An outstanding archaeological museum - found during early construction excavation to be on the site of a real Roman villa. Also splendid Visigothis and Moorish articles. more
