The local folk say that Denia is the healthiest place to stay in the world! Well, the weather is hot and dry enough to kill all the bugs and the small city on the tip of Spains east coast has extreamly clean sea-breeze. Fish is the main dish, healthy too.

The little city remains free of high rise buildings like the Miami-like city of Benidorm 60km down the coast on the "Costa Blanco". The city Denia was once the largest in the region but remained pretty uninhabited after the Moors left.

Rustic little towns and citrus orchards surround the city.
