Travel guide to Ribadavia

Ribadavia appears in guidebooks as a 'fine' or 'typical' Gallego town. Not very informative, you might think, but that's just what it is. It's not a place that can boast a lot of different specific sights but, if you stay there on your way into Galicia to avoid the late arrival times of the talgo in Vigo or Pontevedra, you will leave glad that you have done so.
The castle is less than magnificent but the Plaza Mayor, just below it, is delightful and interesting old and narrow streets drop steeply down from it. [edit text] [editors]
