Familiar hostel Chris and Trudi
Consulate Hotel is expensive, sleeping in the Napoleon Tomb, as I did during my stay in the island, is forbidden. A better Orthodox place to spend the night in St Helena islands is in the familiar hostel offered by Chris and Trudi Constantine, a couple with a big heart who will treat you like a son.
I thank the Saint Helena Police for having introduced me to this family.
In St Helena, as well as in Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) it is forbidden to camp; you must book a hotel or hostel.
They charged me a few pounds per night and almost everyday I was invited to dinner or to tea with biscuits watching TV and consult internet.

Ann’s Place
They serve the special St Helena dish, delicious!
The special coffee growing in the island is also served there, although is a little expensive, 2 English pounds per cup.
