Heading for 10.000 members - What's your GLOBO strory?

We might reach that by tomorrow morning as about 50 members sign up each day. I was wondering how all you guys found GLOBO. What's your story? Did you hear it from a friend, have you found it on a search engine or what brought you to GLOBOsapiens. It would be nice to read that and learn how you experienced the first days in our community and why you signed up as a fellow GLOBO. Hey Andy and everyone out there Im super stoked to be hear . As Im sure you are all well aware , after an accident put me in a chair with wheels I was stuck for things to do. I love travelling and found this site quite by accident actually. Just browsing . I checked out some of the photos and loved what I saw....then it was on to the articles to get some background on some places with waves...because I may be in a chair but on here.....the travelling never ends. I so enjoy chatting in the chat room too , meeting new people guiding them to my favorite articles or photos or to someone who can help them with something or just generally providing a few giggles its all good. Its like being in a family and I must say its helped my healing process no end. Thanks to everyone ....oh and you as well Andreas. Kudos buddy.. Perhaps it will be beer if nedkelly is buying ;-) Even that will be a first!! Globo came up on a Google search of Thailand referred to a picture...that led me to the site. There might be a bottle on the way for your celebration of the 10000 member, alas it'might not be freixenet....! I joined because I like traveling and taking pictures so it is a great place to share information and souvenirs of beloved places! We will get the champagne and beer thing done one day, thats for sure. On the GLOBO 100.000 member party at the latest :-) Mortimer you have been telling me about sending a bottle, I thought you are making a joke. If this is for real and the bottle is not already at the post office.. send it directly to GLOBOsapiens GmbH Schönstraße 59a 81543 München Germany The post will also resend it from Hamburg to Munich it might just take a few days later.
