you are from Delhi right?! I arrive on 2nd at around 10am, take immediately the bus to Haridwar, Rishikesh and from there to the first dham. Yamunotri, may walk to Gangotri. you propably know that Gaumukh needs an permit. If I can get one I will go there as well.
all this may takes already 2 weeks. If I can make it, I like to go to Devprayag as well. I hope to have a day in Delhi too at the end.
this is my 3rd visit to DEL, I have also been to Haridwar before. I may stay again in Paharganj...

I was hoping you will see my comments more like an advice and not a criticism. We'd like to think about Globo as a friendly travellers community.

I am sure you noticed in the terms upon joining that there is no room here for cynicism and abuse. And the Globo staff carefully monitor unacceptable behaviour.

I noticed that you have recently been very critical in your rating of other member photos, giving one and two stars to some very nice pictures. It is certainly your right to have own opinion as sensitivity to art is a very individual thing. However, I believe that few members submit their (it's illegal to upload images unless one has full copyright and we expect members upload their own work) photographs with an expectation to receive one star only. And many members are very sensitive on this point. Globo has mechanisms to prevent deliberate downrating, but we'd like to trust our members to rate fairly and be sensitive about other members' feelings.

It is nice to see that you are trying to contribute to our travellers community. Rudi is however correct to advise you about travel report writing and the photos. I was very surprised to read such short reports about places in India by a person from India and yet containing no personal touch. I failed to sense passion, admiration, or pride - in the best meaning of those words - particularly as these places are truly stunning, having visited them myself.

There are many hints and tips from Globo members how to report on their travel through report writing. Rudi also has an excellent points' chart for his method of rating.

I have not rated your reports, because I am hoping you will take time to improve them to give the places you are writing about justice. By the way, you can write an honest report articulating your disappointment about a place, and still produce a five star report. Reports here are not marketing ads, they are personal reflections and opinions.
