I got a bit tired of singapore and was disappointed at its lack of beaches. I found this resort in Malaysia (only 3 hrs away & THEY RUN A BUS SERVICE!) with the best beaches ever. I called the resort and they arranged everything for me. It was nice not to drive, see some on Malaysia, and visit a beautiful island. I would definitely recommend it. The name of the resort was
Sea Gypsy Village. They have backpacker A frames as well as a bit more upscale chalets. I stayed in the A frames and they were great.
If you have a few extra days, go!
