Zurich is the biggest city and financial center of Switzerland. Stroll down Bahnhofstrasse and window shop at all those luxury shops. Hop on a boat at Bürkliplatz and take a mini cruise on the lake. Enjoy vibrant nightlife in tons of clubs and pubs for every interest; you'll find plenty of choice. Are you more of a classiques lover? There is a top class opera house with great and famous productions, or the reknowned tonhalle orchestra. Zurich also is a University city with loads of students from all over the world.

Sights in Zurich: St. Peters Church, with the biggest clock hands of Switzerland; Fraumünster, with the famous Chagall windows; Grossmünster; Niederdorf; Bahnhofstrasse; Kunstmuseum; Landesmuseum; and Zoo, just to name a few.

Public transport is fast and efficient in Zurich. Get yourself a day pass and hop on any tram or bus you encounter.
