Hua Hin travel tips

Holiday Bungalows Hua Hin
Lovely private bungalows a short walk from the beach in Hua Hin, sleep up to 4, lovely tropical gardens, own bar and patio, own small splash pool. Ideal for couples, small group of friends or a family. There is limited self catering but restaurants are close by. You have your own maid and waiter, same as your own vacation or holiday home but with lovely rooms and hotel style service. more

Ocean Breeze Boutique Guesthouse Hua Hin
The Ocean Breeze provides Boutique Guesthouse accommodation in Hua Hin close to the beach at Khao Takiab Bay. Rooms are well furnished in modern decor and equiped with a modern entertainment system. The breakfast is excellent with a wide choice, far better than most hotel buffets, everything is prepared to order. Large beach towels are provided. Afternoon Tea on the patio. Charming service from excellent staff. I would call this a little 'gem' of a place to stay in Hua Hin. more

The Rock Hua Hin
The Rock is a new boutique resort on the beach in Hua Hin. Rooms are modern and trendy in style. The swimming pool is not large but pleasant. The restaurant at The Rock Hua Hin is excellent with a wide choice of well presented and tasty dishes. Staff are friendly and efficient. The Rock is also close to many of Hua Hin's best restaurants. more

Bluewave Beach Hotel Takiab Bay
The Bluewave Beach Hotel at Khao Takiab is right on the beach, the rooms with seafront views are the best. The hotel is a 2 star plus hotel verging on 3 star. The beach location is excellent as it is quiet. Early morning sees joggers on the beach, during the day you can enjoy the pool or beach, take boat rides and other water sports, fishing trips or try cycling in theis natural area. Elephant rides are near also. About 15 minutes from the center of Hua Hin it is convenient and quiet, though there are excellent restaurants and cafes in the area. You can wander the area, visit temples, see cattle grazing, with a cool frsh ocean breeze. A great choice if you want Hua hin beach but a place that is relaxing yet convenient for the town. more

Khao Takiab Beach and Takiab Bay
If you go just south from the center of Hua Hin you will find the beach close to Khao Takiab such as the Hyatta Regency, Supatra Resort and Kaban Tamor. The large Golden Buddha of Khao Takiab looks out across the Gulf of Thailand and can be seen from far out at sea. This is an amazing temple, watch out for the hungry monkeys through! Just around the corner from Khao Takiab is the Khao Takiab Beach and Takiab Bay itself. This beach is probably more than 4 km long. There are just a few places to stay like the Bluewave and the Takiab Beach but there are vacation rentals, holiday homes, guesthouses and budget places. Local Thai eateries on the beach. Here you can Ride and Elephant, take a boat trip to Lion island, go fishing or just wander and relax on the beach. The working fishing village of Khao Takiab is fascinating. The hills behind Takiab Bay have temples all over the hillside, it is steep but worth the effort, this is an amazing place to get away from it all. more

Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa
A very nice hotel with a nice location more
