Ban Thai Guesthouse
Nice guesthouse located in the ancient Thai city of Sukhothai. Belgian owner. Cheap, basic budget accommodations: a great spot for travelers/backpackers. Travel agency service is available here (booking flights, trains, bus, etc.) They have a great patio where food/drinks are served all day. One of the workers there is named Jip, a Thai who is especially proficient in English. He went through a lot of hoops for us to help reserve train tickets.
If you arrive in Sukhothai by bus you will probably see someone from this place asking you if you need a place to stay. If you stay there they will give you a tuktuk ride to the guesthouse for free.
