The Shoal is off the beaten path, but worth the detour. The restaurant mostly caters to local diners; therefore the menu is authentic Bahamian. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Free bus shuttle service is provided to any hotel by the restaurant.
Seafood specialties include boil' and stew' fish, and crack' conch. I would suggest leaving room for dessert. The Guava Duff is excellent.
