Main aim is to do lots of volcano trekking but going to spend a few days being lazy in Kuta on arrival before I do anything more active. If there's anyone around who has similar interests and fancies meeting up for a drink 24/25 Sept in Kuta, let me know. I'm into travel (obviously), partying (techno, free parties, festivals etc), green stuff, jumping waves and having a good laugh without being a townie nobhead. Also, I'm going to be in Cape Trib, Northern Queensland for a month or so working on a research station in Oct/Nov. The latest news is they are targeting foreigners (Aussies particularly) and throwing them in jail, there have been 2 in the last 2 weeks that I have heard of. The word is the dealers are selling really cheaply and then tipping off the police - I am not sure if it true but I certainly wouldn't wnat to spend the 10 years in a Balainese jail.
