The past few years I was lucky enough to travel internationally for my job (having fun on the weekends) and have a bunch of friends who were working/living in Europe that I would go visit and then travel with...unfortunately they all moved back to the US and not all of my friends are as adventerous as I am... If you are planning to visit Brazil someday, and you have bigger plans than just Rio de Janeiro, I'd be glad to help you out! Have been a sort of guide in my area for a north-american backpacker I've met, enjoyed the experience, so, just email me if you are heading this way and need a place to stay or something .
