Literary Walks of Britain, ed. By D. Veall with photographs by S. McBride, 1992
Sometimes when I wake up at night and can’t return to sleep I search my library for a book to entertain me and I discover a book I never read. Now I walk through London by night with Ch. Dickens, the sleepless walker, and will remember the Snowdown, I once climbed, with W.Woodwoorth, and go on a journey through the Lake District with P.B.Shelley, an d will enjoy the beautiful photographs. The dreams will come and I will go back to sleep.
