Chinese currency is issued by the People's Bank of China.
The standard unit of Chinese currency is the Renminbi (RMB), also known as the yuan.The subsidiary units are the jiao and the fen. You can always change money in Hotel.
People are not used to using credit card in many places except resturants and shops. So prepare enough cash before you leave hotel.

RMB 100 yuan is the largest, RMB 100= 5 * RMB 20 yuan = 10 * RMB10 yuan
= 20 * RMB 5yuan

Yungang Grottoes
