Do you know that Istanbul is the only city in the world that lies on two continents? Yes, both Europe and Asia. Hence, when you tour the city, you will notice buildings both old and new, with Eastern and Western influences.
Main attractions:
1. The Blue Mosque - named because of the blue tiles that covers the inside walls and its domes are beautifully decorated in the same colour. It has 6 minarets and is one of the best examples of Ottoman architecture with the central dome supported by other semi-circular domes.
2. Hagia Sophia, (St Sophia Museum) which is considered to be the symbol of the Byzantine period is hailed as an architectural marvel of all time.
3. A highlight would be getting onboard a private boat and spend an hour cruising down the Bosphorus Straits and marvel at the obscenely lavish Dolmabahce Palace, making this is one of the most beautiful stretches of scenery in Instanbul.
