Pierre Loti
In case that you are travelling on the cheap in Turkey, then go to the youth hostel of Sultanahmet, just in front of the Hagia Sofia, with dormitories and pleasant atmosphere.
But if you can afford it, I advise you the romantic Pierre Loti (the pseudonym of the famous French traveller and writer, born in Rochefort).
Pierre Loti is a very convenient hotel, three stars, with very good prices, located in the heart of Istanbul, not far from the Great Bazaar, a few metres from the Topkapi and Hagia Sofia.
Breakfast in on the top floor with an excellent view.
