In spite of its long name, Abergwyngregyn is a very small place and passes unnoticed by many who pass very close to it on the busy A55 coast road between Conway and Bangor in North Wales.
It is notable for the Aber Falls above the village, which provide a rapid and scenic way down for water from the Carnedd range.
Apart from visitors to these falls, the village usually provides the return to civilisation for those who have completed the 14 [or 15] peaks walk of the peaks above 3000 feet in Wales. Some may belittle Uk mountaind but many have been proud to complete this walk over three ranges of Snowdonia. [edit text][editors]
