Botallack, situated on hte coast of North Cornwall between St Just and Zennor, would be very little without its mining remains. The former Count House holds a lovely display of photos for sale and there are numerous chimneys and workings.
Possibly the most picturesque of the remains are those called 'The Crowns,' easilly attainable on a low path around the nearby headland. Others ae Allens Shaft, Wheal Edward and West Wheal Owles.
There are also interesting remains of the tunnels that were used for the extraction of arsenic. [edit text][editors]
