The small village of West Bretton is now part of the Metropolitan Borough of Wakefield.Its claim to fame is the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. This occupies almost the entire grounds of Bretton Hall and hosts some remarkably fine outdoor exhibitions of sculpture.
