Travel guide to Croesor

Croesor is a tiny village in Snowdonia, served only by most insignificant roads and missed completely by those 'doing' the area in a day. That is their loss.

There's nothing to the village itself but its situation [grid ref SH631446] is delightful. Cnicht, often called 'the Welsh Matterhorn' for its shape, in spite of its diminutive height, rises steeply to its peak immediately above and further south you can walk over some of Snowdonaia's least populated mountains, the Moelwyns, with stunning views and extensive interest from slate quarrying and mining remains.
