Lower Diabaig is at the end of the road leading west from Torridon [qv]. It’s a very quiet place in the evening. Most of the climbers who come during the day for climbs written up in their guides have no desire to stay at a place almost eight miles from the nearest pub over a hilly, tortuous and single track road! There are delightful walks round the coast in both directions and a god one, albeit short up to the inland loch on the road above. See if you can find the old graveyard in the woods up from the end of the village. You’ll probably have to ask! [edit text][editors]
