Travel guide to Inverie
Inverie on [sea] Loch Nevis has a road, a good pub, a bunkhouse and other attributes of civilisation. The point is that there is no connection between the road and any other in the UK, so that access is either by a long walk from Strathan, reached by a minor road beside Loch Arkaig from the B8005, or by boat from Mallaig. [see travel tip for Bruce Watt boats]
It’s one of the access points for the lovely and remote mountain of Ladhar Bheinn [see Kinlochourn] or, by following Loch Nevis to the fine cone-shaped Sgurr na Ciche.
