Most remote bookshop in the UK

Inverkirkaig is a tiny village on an unclassified road linking Lochinver and Achiltibuie, one of the most picturesque, narrow and twisting roads in the country. It is, in fact, scenic almost beyond belief with majestic views of the super-impressive mountain of Suilven on one side and views of a wonderful stretch of coast on the other. Watch it though; it gets more than its share of accidents!
At Inverkirkaig you may well be flabbergasted at finding a really good bookshop!

This is at the start of a great route to Suilven, starting by following up the river to the lovely Falls of Kirkaig. It’s a really long walk to Suilven [by this route or any other]. However once you get to the saddle between its peaks, the distantly viewed impression of unscaleabilkity goes and you’ll get up easily enough.
