Travel guide to Inverlael
Inverlael is a tiny place south of Ullapool. The most noteworthy thing there is an arboretum at the edge of the forest. However there are also paths to some little walked mountains [but you might meet Munroe baggers!]. These are ideal if you like scenery and red deer and you might even be lucky enough to spot a capercaillie; Beinn Dearg, Meall nan Ceapraichean and the wonderfully named Eididh nan Clach Geala. A short ditance further southeast the A835 road is joined by the A832 from Gairloch and Poolewe. Between the two roads is the Gorge of Corrieshalloch and Falls of Measach, owned by the National Trust for Scotland. Do make time for a look. [edit text]  [editors]
