Travel guide to Kilchoan

Kilchoan is a pleasant little village but it depends upon its location for its main attractions to visitors. It is the farthest west of any UK mainland villages and the closest to the far west point of Ardnamurchan Head. The beaches round here are of the type more often associated with the islands or with Sutherland, vast expanses of hard sand, backed by dunes.
In addition to its easy access to this splendid coast, Kilchoan is the site of a ferry to Tobermory, the capital of Mull. [edit text] [editors]
