Travel guide to Lochbuie
Castle of Moy
Castle of Moy
Lochbuie is a delightful little vilage on the south coast of Mull reached by a signed left turn from the road west from craignure to Bunessan and Iona. It is the start of an excellent coastal walk under fine cliffs and past beaches to Carsaig and on below massive cliffs to Carsaig Arches and Malcolm's Point.
However Lochbuie itself is not short of appeal. Apart from hte curiosity of the smallest Post Office in the UK it has the ruins of the Castle of Moy [not to be confused with the royal Castle of May!] and a fine church of the Church of Scotland [presbyterian and unrelated to the Church of England].
For real variety there's also a stone circle! [edit text]  [editors]
