Travel guide to Lochinver

Lochinver is large by the standard of its area but that still only gives it a population of 650 in the 2001 census! Most settlements around it are covered separately and there is not a lot to say about Lochinver other than that is very pleasant, in a great place on the coast and with a good hotel. Most people who go there have at least some interest in walking so this space is used largely to say where you will find the mountains of the area on this site. Quinag is under Unapool, Suilven under Inverkirkaig, Stac Pollaidh and Cul Mor under Ledmore and Ben Stack, a lesser known beauty, under Achfary.
