Travel guide to Plockton

Plockton, on the southern coast of Locharron, is on the scenic Inverness to Kyle of Localsh rail line and noises reminiscent of the Tower of Babel can be heard as the train pulls onto this part. The understandable bit is that, whatever language is used, the noises are ones of approval and excitement.
Whether reached by rail or road, Plockton is a really beautiful village, chocolae box or jigsaw quality. It is on the south shore of Lochcarron and there are frequent seal spotting trips in season. [see travel tip] [edit text] [editors]
