Travel guide to Wendover

The Pathway

Wendover is nestled in the Chiltern Hills. It is a wonderful old English historic town, with plenty to keep one occupied. There are many quaint restaurants and real countryside pubs. It’s a great place to spend some days but the real reason to visit the area is to embark on one of the many walks or cycle paths.

The most famous of the walks is the Ridgeway a National Trail, it is really wonderful; the views are magical, which makes being alive just perfect.

Some of the routes are strenous but short, maybe about five miles or so, the longer routes where you can camp along the way stretches for about 50 miles. [edit text] [editors]
